Thank you for stopping by.
In this blog entry I would like to share with you a poem called O FEAR.
It is about fear, as you may tell by the title.
Now, I think fear is a very peculiar occurrence in life. It has its positives and its negatives,
depending on how one sees it and reacts to it.
Ultimately, fear serves an important purpose, whether we are aware of it or not.
I do hope you enjoy the poem.
Thank you for your time and attention,
The grip of fear clenches through flesh and bone to the core.
The maws of fear never release, they engulf all those who come near them.
To let ourselves be won by fear is to become powerless.
And to many a people have let their fear submit them entirely, in them a chronic disease.
Fear is like acid running through, it won't stop until we are no more.
Only by love and understanding is fear no more.
Fear sucks the life out, kills the dream.
For most live in fear and don't even know it, fear is the subtle act of resistance to life.
'Tis when we cease fear's grip on us that we become empowered and free to choose.
Thus to march unflinching in the direction of fear, our responsibility.
To let go of our fear, our mission must be!
And subtle fear may also indicate our true north, whence within it we also discern excitement.
Thus one of the most powerful fears is the fear of being truly loved, of being truly vulnerable.
That fear is for the death of our ego!
Whence we know we are not our ego, we can let it rest.
O fear! Greatest enemy within! To succumb to you the loss of life!
O fear! Guiding light within! To transcend you the loss of death!
Thank you o fear, for your service with either sorrow or excitement is rendered,
You always bring us to what truly is! To who we truly are!
Even if we may lose ourselves in the middle.
