PONDERING UPON INJUSTICE AND MY EXISTENCE -Poem

What is injustice
to a life lived with love
and trust in the hidden order?

All the injustices in the world
so far away, and yet so intimate.

Pain cannot cross my skin.
Cry, pour the river of life my child.

The ultimate effort made irrelevant.
Trying won't cut it.

To defend a lie
knowing it as one
that will soon return
to oblivion.

Will my carrying
the injustices of the world
upon my shoulders
alleviate them in any way?

Is there freedom in my anguish,
will it set anyone free?

How do I contend
with injustice?

Why is it right
for me to let it go?

What response
will guide me
towards what I seek?

I seek the balance
of all existing elements!

Are they not in balance,
although not in appearance?

I seek for truth
to guide my way!

Can I ever depart from it,
can there be any other destination?

Are these but inneffable?

Are those but illusions
we have made up
and convinced ourselves
about their existence?

Can they be separate
one from the other?

Is there any point in striving?

O what is to be done?

Something? Anything?!

My feet can't touch the ground!

Taken by the wind
and with clouds I am taken!

Am I losing myself?

Am I letting go?

Am I meant to remain?

Am I meant to go home?

Are they one and the same?
